In 2003, Laurel Brandstetter traveled to Madagascar and witnessed firsthand the immense artisanal talent in the region. Now, Laurel and these artisans work together on Mar Y Sol, an accessories brand recognized for its unique designs, exquisite craftsmanship and creative use of sustainable materials. Mar y Sol sales enable families to gain economic independence while preserving traditional craft.
