The Maguro was designed as a mix between the classic San Diego fish and a modern twin. The tail is a classic swallow (split tail) with 5? deep and 10? wide.

This characteristic creates a sharp turning tail with a good amount of drive and hold. The bottom is a classic vee all the way to the tail; the deck is flat with a modern soft rail; the rocker/ foil combo was improved if compared with the traditional 70?s fish to allow the surfer to carve classic lines or to rip like a high performance small wave design.
